Procedure to become LIC Agent

Age: 18 years minimum, no upper limit.

Qualification: 10th Pass (Minimum) / Graduates, MBAs & professionals will be preferred

Documents Required:

• Your 6 recent passport size Photos.
• Photo copies of educational certificates ( 10th & 12th certificates)
• Any Address Proof document like Aadhar Card, Voter Card, Passport, Driving license, bank pass book
• Photo copy of Pan Card

Training

A compulsory training for 25 hours i.e. 4 days, either classroom or online. Training covers all aspects of life insurance business.

Fees

Whichever is applicable at that time.

Currently Registration fee: Rs. 150, Examination fee: Rs.425 Online Training fee: Rs. 150 (optional)

Examination

Passing of IRDA Examination.

• You can take Exam in English or Marathi or Hindi.
• Exam will be Online.
• Exam will be of 50 Marks
• The question paper will have multiple choice questions having 4 options.
• Passing marks are only 17.
